My initial intent for starting this blog was so I could post photos I'm working on and upload to a blog I belong to. Then...I thought maybe it would be a useful place for me to do some basic teaching as I have a ton in my head (to the beginner). Kind of learn from my mistakes and this is what we learned kinda thing. Then I thought maybe I'd do everything in order...but I can't remember that way and it was bringing me stress (over thinking as my husband calls it) so, I think I will write what I want as the mood strikes. LOL
I LOVE COLORS! I made this quilt using a pattern out of a quilt magazine, using all of my favorite colors with mini 9-patch and mini-rail fence blocks. The only thing I wish I would have done different is known about binding. Also, doing the mini 9-patch you really need to have a 1/4 inch foot or know your seam allowance cuz mine were all over the place. My seams were difficult to match up but I made them work and it's on my bed and I love it!
